On the occasion of Karwa Chauth, several Bollywood celebs – both male and female, fasted for the well-being of their better halves. After breaking their day-long fast by drinking water and eating something sweet fed to them by their partners, these stars took to social media and shared a glimpse of how their celebration unfolded.

A glimpse into Bollywood celebs celebrating Karwa Chauth

Priyanka Chopra – who was recently in Mumbai, celebrated Karwa Chauth with her husband Nick Jonas in London. The ‘Citadel’ actress took to social media and shared a couple of pictures simply captioned, “To all those celebrating.. happy karwa chauth and yes I’m filmy.” In the first pic, Nick is seen breaking Priyanka’s fast by giving her water while the actress’ mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, joined them via a video call. For the festivities, the ‘Don’ actress opted for a traditional red outfit and even wore sindoor. She also shared an image of her self-applied tiny mehendi drawn.

Just like the previous years, this time too Katrina Kaif fasted for her husband Vicky Kaushal on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. The actress took to Instagram and shared photos of the family coming together for the puja, which was followed by the breaking of the fast and a family picture thereafter. In the first picture, Katrina is seen looking beautiful in a pretty pink saree while her mother-in-law – dressed in a traditional red outfit, blesses her. The other pics in the post included some solos, a family pic and a candid moment of her MIL lovingly caressing her face. This post also gave fans a glimpse of Vicky’s look for Love & War.

Rakul Preet Singh took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from her first Karwa Chauth with Jackky Bhagnani. The couple – dressed to the nines in matching red ethnic wear, looked lost each other’s eyes during the rituals. While Rakul – who recently injured her back, opted for a red and golden suit Jackky complemented her in a red kurta with floral prints.

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat – who also celebrated their first Karwa Chauth together this year, were all smiles in the pictures clicked at their celebration. Reminiscing about seeing her mother perform the pooja over the years, Kriti captioned her post, “Being married (to the right person) was also on my bucket list 🙂 and I’m happy to announce, it’s going splendidly” For the celebration, the actress opted for a shiny yellow saree and Pulkit donned a neutral shade kurta -pajyma.

Parineeti Chopra’s politician husband, Raghav Chadha took to social media and shared several images of their Karwa Chauth celebration in Delhi. These included glimpses of him breaking her fast by giving her water, the couple spending quality time together and the actress participating in the rituals. While the actress opted for a fuchsia-pink suit, Raghav complimented her in a three-piece sage green traditional look.
